2. Personal data we process
Project inquiry form: full name, email address, telephone number, preferred contact language, property location, project category and type, project description, and any photos or documents you voluntarily upload. Correspondence: data you provide to us by email or telephone. Technical data: when you visit the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time of access, page visited and browser information in order to deliver and secure the website. Cookie preferences: your choice is stored in your browser's local storage (see Cookie Policy).
3. Purposes of processing
Responding to your inquiries; preparing project proposals and quotations; communicating with prospective customers; processing project-related documents and images; maintaining website security and stability; meeting applicable legal obligations. Inquiry data is not used for newsletters or marketing. Should this be offered in future, it will only happen with separate, optional consent.
4. Legal bases
Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – pre-contractual measures taken at your request (handling project inquiries and quotations). Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest in handling general communications and operating the website securely. Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with legal obligations, such as tax and commercial record-keeping requirements. Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – consent, where required, in particular for non-essential cookies or optional marketing. Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. The checkbox in the form confirming that you have read the Privacy Policy is not consent and is not the legal basis for handling your inquiry.
5. Email delivery of inquiries
Information submitted through the inquiry form, including attachments, is delivered as a transactional email to info@thermtec-mallorca.com via the Resend service (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA). Resend processes the data solely for delivery, as a processor, under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) incorporating the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Resend is also certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
6. Hosting
The website is provided via the Lovable platform (Lovable Labs AB, Stockholm, Sweden). Lovable processes technical data when the website is accessed, as a processor, and uses sub-processors listed in its Trust Center, some of which may be located outside the European Economic Area. According to the provider, international transfers rely on appropriate safeguards under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Fonts are served locally from this website; no connection to Google Fonts is made. No analytics or marketing services are currently in use.
7. Data retention
Personal data is kept only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose. Inquiry data is deleted once the inquiry has been fully handled and no contract is concluded, unless legal retention obligations apply. If a contract is concluded, retention periods follow tax and commercial record-keeping obligations and the limitation period for possible claims. Technical log data is retained by the hosting provider for a limited period for security purposes.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability where applicable (Art. 20), and to object (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. The website and form are transmitted in encrypted form (HTTPS). Credentials for email services are used on the server only.
